Start with the mouth you have now
A cosmetic conversation should still begin like a dental appointment. We look at tooth health, gum health, bite, wear, old fillings, crowding, and what you actually want to change. Sometimes the right plan is smaller than expected.
Sequence matters more than people think
- Whitening usually comes before matching the colour of a veneer or filling.
- Clear aligners can create space before restorative work is considered.
- Gum inflammation should be stabilised before cosmetic work is planned.
- A worn or cracked tooth may need a restorative plan, not just a cosmetic one.
